Their Venturi Valve (Model VV) provides rapid and highly accurate airflow control for critical environments like laboratories and hospitals. Available in constant or variable air volume configurations, the valve controls flow without the need for airflow measuring devices in the airstream, thus eliminating the possibility of lint or other airborne particulates interfering with the control or accuracy of the valve.
The valve provides electronic flow feedback using a precision potentiometer to output a signal proportional to airflow, preventing dust/lint contamination from deteriorating the airflow reading. The valves are characterized and calibrated using accredited airflow stations and are available for medium or low pressure operation. Furthermore, the device offers operating pressure feedback for diagnostics. Its mechanically pressure-independent design guarantees consistent airflow in less than a second, regardless of static pressure changes in the ductwork. This ensures critical space pressure relationships and occupant safety are maintained, offering energy efficiency with a high turndown ratio up to 20:1.
